About Qatra
Why "Qatra"?
Qatra (قطرہ) means "a drop". Every drop of blood given through an NGO can save a life — Qatra exists to help NGOs get each drop to the right patient faster.
Why we built it
Blood donation NGOs in Pakistan mostly work from spreadsheets, phone calls and WhatsApp groups. When a patient needs blood, finding a compatible and eligible donor takes far too long. Qatra puts donors, requests and donations in one place and automates the repetitive steps.
Who it is for
Qatra is for NGOs and volunteer groups that arrange blood donations. It is a platform for NGOs, not a blood bank: donors and patients' families reach an NGO through that NGO's own Qatra link.
Built by SecAITech
Qatra is a project by SecAITech, an AI-Powered Software Engineering Studio based in Kasur, Punjab, Pakistan, founded and led by Qasim.
